Meet Our Design Team.
Lisa Hibberd
With over 28 years of experience, Lisa provides a wide variety of design expertise to our team. Born and raised on a farm in Overton, Nebraska, Lisa graduated from Kearney State turned UNK in 1993 with a double major in Kitchen and Bath Design and Business. Her professional career started with an internship at Showcase. This internship lead to Lisa managing their Kearney location for the next 28 years. Fast forward to 2021, and Lisa is ready to move onto the next chapter of her Kitchen & Bath Designer career, tackling her family's dream of starting their own design company. Lisa does cabinetry for all areas of the home, from kitchens to offices to entertainment centers. She finds joy working with all styles like contemporary, transitional, traditional, modern farmhouse, and mid-century modern. Her favorite part of her work is getting to know customers personally and making their dreams a reality. Outside of work, Lisa has been married to her husband Gary since 1993 and have four children; Megan, Hannah, Austin, and Haley. Lisa also became a grandmother over the summer to a baby girl named Laramie. Recently, Lisa decided to step away from her role as an administrator for the Kearney Soccer Club, which she has been a member for the past 15 years.
Hannah Kizer
Meet the creator of our ‘Innermost Designs’ name. Hannah created a craft decor and design consultation business while attending the University of Nebraska at Kearney studying Interior Design. Little did she know, this small business would grow to hold its own building, running alongside the expertise of her mother, Lisa. The first chance Hannah had to work alongside her Mom was during a summer internship with Showcase Home Furnishings. She quickly learned of her passion for residential design and love for cabinetry. Upon graduation, Hannah has worked as a Designer’s Assistant for Stephanie Bruntz Designs and with Jacobi Carpet One as an Interior Designer and Flooring Expert. ‘Innermost Designs’ has been a dream of hers for the last six years, and it is finally becoming a reality alongside her biggest role model, her Mom. This mother-daughter duo is the perfect combination of experience and fresh ideas. Hannah currently lives in Overton, Nebraska, with her husband Logan Kizer, their new baby girl, Laramie, and their pup, Nala.
Connie Glover
Connie Glover is a familiar face in the community. Connie brings many years of interior design experience to the Innermost team, specializing in lighting design. She takes pride in getting to know each of her clients and has made many friends through her work. She assists them in finding the unique style that represents them and is the perfect fit for their home. Outside of work, you might often find Connie snuggled up alongside her cat, Henry Bean. Connie looks forward to joining Lisa and Hannah in their new adventures and looks forward to brightening not only your day but your home as well!
